Over 200 participants in the Romania-Ukraine Partnership Forum

During July 13-14, 2023, the management structures of Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine organised a partnership forum for every priority of de cross border programme: environment, social and border management.

Representatives of local and regional authorities, of NGOs from the border counties of Romania and oblasts of Ukraine drafted project ideas which may be developed in partnership and may benefit communities on both sides of the border. During the events, about 160 project ideas were presented, and those present had the opportunity to share information with potential partners who prepare similar projects.

Together with these events, another useful tool to help identify partners for cross border projects is the dedicated programme website section, https://ro-ua.net/en/partner-search , where many organisations have already enlisted. Furthermore, those interested may access https://keep.eu/partners/ to identify organisations which already implemented cooperation projects.

The events were held on-line and gathered more than 200 participants from Romania and Ukraine. The sessions were organized with the help of TESIM experts (Technical Support to the Implementation and Management of ENI CBC programmes) contracted by the European Commission to offer support to NEXT programmes.
