The Joint Secretariat, hosted by the Regional Office for Cross-Border Cooperation Suceava, in collaboration with the Management Authority within the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration of Romania, successfully organized a series of training sessions for potential applicants and project partners on 17 and 18 June 2025.
These online sessions were part of the broader efforts to support participation in the second call for Small-Scale Projects under the Interreg VI-A NEXT Romania–Ukraine Programme. The current call focuses on the thematic areas of education and good governance, key priorities for fostering sustainable cross-border cooperation.
The training sessions provided practical, hands-on guidance to those interested in submitting project proposals. Participants received detailed information on a variety of critical topics, including eligibility criteria, intervention logic, programme indicators, and the application process using the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (JEMS). The agenda also included a live Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to clarify their doubts and engage directly with the programme’s technical staff.
These sessions are part of the Programme structures continuous efforts to ensure transparency, accessibility, and support for all stakeholders interested in contributing to the objectives of the Romania–Ukraine cross-border programme. By strengthening the capacity of applicants and encouraging high-quality project submissions, the Programme aims to maximize the impact of EU funding in the eligible border areas.
