9 events, 2 countries, one celebration - European Cooperation Day 2021!
The Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine marked European Cooperation Day 2021 with "Projects without Borders. Romania - Ukraine" campaign, during September 20 and October 15, 2021. The campaign included 9 regional events, organized in the Program area, both in Romania and Ukraine, as well as the promotion of the programme on radio stations and online.
The 9 regional meetings brought together programme beneficiaries and local journalists, in order to present the results of the funded projects, their contribution to improving the quality of life of the people in the border area communities, but also to promote cross-border cooperation as a valuable tool, useful to address common problems.
On this journey through the programme area, organized in a friendly, informal and relaxed format, joined us 63 journalists and over 250 participants from the 2 countries.
The campaign "Projects without borders. Romania - Ukraine" attracted the appreciation of the participants and generated over 60 articles in the local press of the 2 countries. The visibility of the events was reinforced by broadcasting over 800 airings of the audio promotional spot, dedicated to the campaign, on local and national radio stations in the eligible area,
The events took place in Romania, in Suceava, Botosani, Tulcea, Baia Mare, Satu Mare and in Ukraine, in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhorod, and Izmail, according to the following calendar:
