On 2nd of May 2017, the European Commission has approved the summaries of three large infrastructure projects, projects which will be financed in the framework of the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ucraina 2014 – 2020.
Thus, two projects on the main list and one on the reserve list were approved:
Clean River, Total Budget: 4.3 mil euros
Regional Cooperation for Prevention and Fighting of Cross-border Crime between Romania-Ukraine, Total Budget: 3.5 mil euros
Cross Border Health Infrastructure, Total Budget: 4.1 mil euros
In the next period, the leaders and their partners will develop the grant application and technical documents related to the second stage. By the end of 2017 the full projects’ documentation will be forwarded to the EC for approval, and the implementation stage will commence in early 2018.
