To inform potential applicants about the characteristics of the new cooperation programme Interreg NEXT Romania – Ukraine, information sessions will be organised in the eligibility area.
On February 14, 2023, Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine Programme was officially launched in Bucharest. The event aimed at informing the stakeholders about the new funds available for the development of the border communities of the two participating countries.
On Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, the official launching of Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine Programme will take place in Bucharest, starting at 10:00 hrs a.m. Members of the Monitoring Committee from Romania and Ukraine and other stakeholders who can contribute to programme implementation will attend the event. Representatives of the European Commission will also be present.
The European Commission approved the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine Programme on November 30, 2022.
The Government of Romania approved, during the meeting held on June 30, 2022, the negotiation and signing of Interreg VI-A Romania-Ukraine Programme. This will be sent to the European Commission for approval.
The Managing Authority for 2014-2020 Romania-Ukraine Programme, as a coordinator of the programming process, is organising public consultations on the final draft of Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine Programme for 2021-2027.
Partners in Romania and Ukraine met online on May 25, within the Joint Programming Committee, to discuss the draft of Romania-Ukraine Interreg NEXT Programme for 2021-2027, including the financial allocations for programme priorities. The two delegations approved the document drafted by the Managing Authority. The cooperation programme will be published for consultation for a period of 10 days.
