To support the effective implementation of cross-border projects financed by the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine Programme, the Managing Authority and Joint Secretariat organised a dedicated online training session for project partners. The event took place on 24–25 June 2025 and brought together more than 300 representatives of beneficiary institutions involved in projects funded by the programme.
Over the course of two days, participants received targeted guidance designed to strengthen their capacity in key areas such as project implementation, financial management, communication, and reporting. The training sessions combined theoretical input with practical tools, focusing on compliance with programme rules and EU regulations.
Key topics covered during the event included:
- understanding and working with the Grant Contract and the Partnership Agreement;
- technical and financial reporting;
- public procurement rules;
- infrastructure project implementation;
- lessons learned from previous programming cycles.
The training provided valuable insights and enabled participants to interact directly with programme representatives and technical experts, fostering a better understanding of the rules and requirements for successful project implementation.
This initiative reflects the programme’s continued commitment to supporting its beneficiaries and ensuring that all partners are well-equipped to manage their projects efficiently and in full compliance with applicable regulations.
