European Cooperation Day 2019: over 900 people donated blood in Romania-Ukraine Programme eligible area

The management structures of Romania-Ukraine Joint Operational Programme celebrated the European Cooperation Day 2019 by organising a blood donation campaign called Europe for YOU! You for LIFE! Be a DONOR! in the programme eligible area of the two participating countries. 930 persons from both sides of the border went to the nine transfusion centres participating in the campaign and helped donate more than 350 litres of blood which will be used to save those who urgently need this help.

A cross-border campaign for blood donation will be organized in the Programme area, as part of the celebration of European Cooperation Day.

17.3 million Euro financing for large infrastructure projects contracted under Romania-Ukraine Programme

At the end of June 2019, the Romanian and Ukrainian authorities finalised the signing of the financing contracts for the four large infrastructure projects included in Romania-Ukraine Joint Operational Programme 2014-2020, totalising 21.1 million Euro, out of which 17.3 million Euro being European funds (which represents 30% of the programme budget).

Training session for HARD call for proposals’ applicants

On June 26th, the Joint Technical Secretariat will organise a training session on the preparation of the additional documents requested for the 3rd step of evaluation of the applications submitted under the HARD call for proposals of Romania-Ukraine Joint Operational Programme.

12 HARD projects selected after the technical and financial evaluation

The projects submitted under Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 Joint Operational Programme have undergone the administrative and eligibility check. Out of the 197 projects submitted, 32 HARD projects and 105 SOFT projects have been selected for technical and financial evaluation.
