On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, "Message for Ukraine" campaign, organised to mark the European Cooperation Day, reached its end in a public event held in Suceava.
Romania-Ukraine Programme 2022 initiative to celebrate European Cooperation Day - "Message for Ukraine" is a manifesto dedicated to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, with the aim of conveying a message of solidarity in a unique format, through contemporary mural art.
"Message for Ukraine" competition for mural art has reached its end. Following public vote on ENI CBC Romania - Ukraine 2014-2020 Facebook page, the best artwork was "Birds of will and freedom", made by a 15-year old artist in Odesa, Ukraine.
During the period of July 18 – August 21, 2022, the first stage of the mural art competition “Message for Ukraine” was held, organised by Romania-Ukraine Programme management structures to mark the European Cooperation Day 2022.
The National Bank of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 161 dated July 28, 2022 (https://bank.gov.ua/admin_uploads/law/Resolution_24022022_18_kp.pdf) which lifts the moratorium on cross-border settlements within the framework of projects/programmes of international technical assistance/border cooperation financed by the European Union.
