On 2nd of May 2017, the European Commission has approved the summaries of three large infrastructure projects, projects which will be financed in the framework of the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ucraina 2014 – 2020.

On 9 March 2017, the European Commission approved the first major project infrastructure summary: ” Improvement of the population safety and security level in the cross-border area by enhancing the joint training and cooperation actions in emergency management”, under the Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine 2014 -2020.
